New Band Director Announced

Gordon Couch will become the new NorthWood High School band director, succeeding Barry Houser, next season. Couch is currently the Director of Bands for the Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School District in Texas. Previously he served as Director of Bands at Daviess County High School, Owensboro, KY from 2004-2006; and Associate Director at Medison Central High School in Richmond, KY in 2003-2004; and Assistant Band Director at Boyle County High School in Danville, KY from 2001-2003. Couch will visit NorthWood on April 23 to meet students, parents and staff. He will officially start this summer to prepare for the marching band season.
