General Educational Development (GED) Orientation

Monday, August 18, 12 to 1 pm (lunch provided by the Learning Generation Initiative - LGI)
Thursday, August 21, 6-7 pm
Saturday, August 23, 10-11 am

Find out what options are available to pass the General Educational Development (GED) exams. These exams are required to earn an Indiana high school equivalency diploma. The orientation will include setting up a free diagnostic evaluation to determine if the individual is ready to take the exam or if additional areas of study may be required. The orientation will also cover study options including free online or classroom instruction or a combination of both. In response to the recent dramatic rise in unemployment in Elkhart County, GED classes will be held free of charge for a limited time through a partnership with the Learning Generation Initiative (LGI).

A series of ten GED classes is scheduled to begin at the Nappanee Public Library on Tuesday, September 9 through November 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
More may be offered depending on needs.
