Nappanee's newest mural features the four quilts that were featured on the postage stamp collection that were first issued in Nappanee in 2001.
The featured, classic quilt patterns are:
Lone Star
Diamond-in-the-Square
Sunshine and Shadows
Double Nine Patch
The mural is on the side of John's Butcher Shop building at the corner of Main and Walnut streets and just went up this week.
They add a nice flash of color and beauty to the corner where we lost an historic building to fire not long ago.
