Nappanee resident Marvene Pippenger was named Elkhart County Fair Senior Queen this morning. She was chosen out of 11 contestants at a 9 a.m. pageant at the fairgrounds' grandstand. She is a retired teacher and serves as a volunteer for the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce.
