We enjoyed another trip to the Round Barn theater at Amish Acres last evening. This time to see The Will Rogers Follies.
As expected the performance was done exceptionally well. Cudos to Brian Kaisen who did a tremendous job at portraying Will Rogers, including rope trips and playing both the harmonica and the guitar. He also used Rogers' line "I only know what I read in the papers" and brought it into the current day, even the current week.
Katie Fox-Kirsch, as Betty Blake (Rogers wife); Jonathon Wilson, as Clem Rogers (Will's father); and Amy Franklin, as Ziegleld's Favorite, also performed manificently. We will be looking forward to the next performace of White Christmas.
